Job Title: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at PRIDE Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting the surgical team during procedures. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and supplies
  • Monitor the patient's vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in inpatient surgery, with Level 1 trauma experience preferred
  • Current NBSTSA certification
  • Current BLS certification
