Job Title: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts, and will be responsible for ensuring the proper equipment is sterilized and available, preparing patients for procedures, and providing pre, during, and post-op assistance.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the proper equipment is sterilized and available for surgical procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining consent.
  • Provide pre, during, and post-op assistance to surgical teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
Requirements:
  • Surgical Tech National Certificate.
  • American Heart Association BLS.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
