At Redcliff Ascent, we support students facing various mental, behavioral, and substance abuse challenges. Our dedicated team strives to be a beacon of hope for families in crisis, fostering genuine change and healing through shared experiences and therapeutic activities.
Responsibilities- Work the night shift, spending 7 consecutive nights in the backcountry, with 13-hour shifts each night.
- Ensure the safety and supervision of students.
- Document student supervision accurately.
- Assist students with their educational activities.
- Share knowledge and appreciation of the natural environment.
- Guide students through experiential learning activities.
- Facilitate group discussions and emotional processing.
- Manage crises and de-escalate challenging situations.
- Provide support and constructive feedback to colleagues.
- Address challenges creatively and collaboratively.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications at the time of application will not be considered.
Essential Skills- High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Must obtain First Aid & CPR certification within the first month of employment; Wilderness First Responder certification preferred.
- Must be at least 19 years of age, in accordance with state regulations.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Pass a pre-employment health assessment.
- Eligibility to work in the USA.
