Responsibilities

• Work the night shift, spending 7 consecutive nights in the backcountry, with 13-hour shifts each night.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of students.
• Document student supervision accurately.
• Assist students with their educational activities.
• Share knowledge and appreciation of the natural environment.
• Guide students through experiential learning activities.
• Facilitate group discussions and emotional processing.
• Manage crises and de-escalate challenging situations.
• Provide support and constructive feedback to colleagues.
• Address challenges creatively and collaboratively.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications at the time of application will not be considered.

Essential Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Must obtain First Aid & CPR certification within the first month of employment; Wilderness First Responder certification preferred.
• Must be at least 19 years of age, in accordance with state regulations.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a pre-employment health assessment.
• Eligibility to work in the USA.
