Job Title: RN D/R Labor

At Tufts Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a RN D/R Labor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The RN D/R Labor is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
