Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs tasks and teams to achieve project goals and resolve client challenges.
  • Constructs models of intricate systems utilizing standardized languages (e.g., SysML).
  • Assesses and contrasts various architectures through qualitative and quantitative methods, articulating significant uncertainties linked to system architectures, and identifying associated risks and opportunities.
  • Facilitates requirements management, interface management, and architecture change management processes.
  • Converts analytical findings into actionable insights for government entities.
  • Organizes and interprets client data into MBSE SysML artifacts and elements; employs SysML tools to create architecture, requirements, and behavioral and parametric models, developing diverse SysML views that enhance client comprehension.
  • Aids in formulating executable strategies to tackle client challenges related to the adoption of MBSE and relevant tools such as Cameo/No Magic or IBM Rational.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least twelve (12) years of pertinent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline
    • Four (4) additional years of experience is required with a High School diploma; two (2) additional years of experience is required with an Associate's degree.
    • A Master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience; a Ph.D. may substitute for four (4) years of experience.
  • Seven (7) years of experience specific to the position.
  • Familiarity with information technology, network infrastructure, or C6ISR systems.
  • Proficiency in SysML nomenclature and DoDAF.
  • Experience with MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, CATIA, or other system modeling tools.
  • Background in engineering analysis (collecting, organizing, and analyzing data).
  • Strong written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills are crucial. Experience in leading systems engineering teams is preferred.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • OCSMP SysML or INCOSE Certifications.
  • Proven understanding of Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM).
  • Capability to operate in a distributed team environment.
  • Knowledge of Software Intensive Systems or Information Communication Technology (ICT) systems.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in modeling or simulating systems within DoD domains.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, AFSIM, SIMDIS, or similar modeling and simulation tools.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, R, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, VBA, or STK.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The individual in this role must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time. Occasionally, they may need to move within the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with colleagues and management.

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $157,900-$263,200. Various factors can influence the final salary, including relevant work experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
