Job Summary

ASP Web Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Computer Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their computer systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and configure new computer systems, including imaging, data transfer, and physical installation.
  • Provide end-user support, including troubleshooting network connectivity issues, common PC software and hardware problems, and rendering assistance to customers for MS Office 365 applications.
  • Configure and deploy mobile devices in an enterprise environment, including tablets and smartphones.
  • Assist with office moves, disconnecting and reconnecting customer computers, and providing next-day support for log-in and printer setup.
  • Follow standard procedures to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in desktop computer imaging, end-user support, and hardware repair.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a professional demeanor and ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to apply standards, concepts, and techniques in areas such as desktop computer imaging, end-user support, and hardware repair for Windows and Apple computers and laptops.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain Public Trust security clearance.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory to create/manage computer objects and perform password resets/account unlocks.
  • Physically capable of lifting boxes up to 40 pounds, walking many steps per day, and performing other similar physical demands.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to arrive for scheduled shifts on time without fail.
Desired Qualifications
  • A+ recent certification.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10, recent Mac OS, Windows Active Directory, AirWatch MDM for mobile devices, and MS Office 365.
  • College graduate or equivalent industry-specific trade school.
Work Environment
  • 100% remote work.
  • Dynamic work schedule, with hours that may fluctuate significantly from one day to the next.
  • Overtime will be available and required.
  • Schedule flexibility is required to provide coverage for events scheduled and assigned with little advance notice.
  • Weekend and holiday work may be required to accommodate customer demand and schedule.
