Job Title: Anesthesia Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Valley Hospital Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide safe and effective cleaning of all equipment in compliance with safety and infection control standards. They will also be responsible for ordering and preparing supplies and equipment as needed by the Anesthesiologist for surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

* Clean and maintain all equipment in compliance with safety and infection control standards
* Order and prepare supplies and equipment as needed by the Anesthesiologist for surgical procedures
* Assist the Anesthesiologist with patient care and preparation for surgery
* Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and supply inventory

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Minimum two years anesthesia or critical care background
* Ability to operate or ability to learn to operate equipment used in performing job responsibilities
* BLS required
* Knowledge of medical terminology
