  • Patient Education: Educate patients on hygiene treatments and best oral hygiene practices to empower them to take control of their oral health.
  • X-Rays: Take digital radiographs as necessary for patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Treatment Planning: Assist in developing personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and dentist recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Patient Interaction: Engage patients in a friendly and reassuring manner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and completed procedures.
  • Infection Control: Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or certification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
  • License: Valid state dental hygiene license.
  • Other licenses/certifications: CPR, Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Laser Certification (where required).
