Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Rock West Composites. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about inventory management and process improvement.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the stock levels and status of goods and products in our warehouses and storage facilities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track the movement of goods through various stages of inventory (receiving, storing, picking, manufacturing, machining, packing, and shipping)
  • Perform regular inventory counts, reconciling physical inventory with recorded stock levels
  • Monitor shelf-life, out-time and ensure application of first-in-first-out inventory
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure efficient use of stock and avoid overstocking or stockouts
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Inventory Control
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple, concurrent tasks
  • Continual improvement focused
  • Solid decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to interface with all business units: management, purchasing, operations, engineering, finance, quality and business development
