Shift: First Shift Monday - Friday


Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of the finishing process for Dayton-Granger's parts, including masking products prior to sanding or painting.
  • Remove mask and touch-up painted surfaces prior to presentation to quality inspection.
  • Buffing or polishing any imperfection on units to meet our workmanship and industry standards for parts finishing.
  • Complete production orders and related tasks on time and to the customer's specification.
  • Follow all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in roles involving finishing, sanding, painting, or assembly of components.
  • Tools: Proficient in the use of hand and air tools, with the ability to mask, buff, and polish parts to meet precise industry standards.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong visual inspection skills with the ability to identify and correct imperfections, ensuring high-quality finishes on all products.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of performing tasks that involve physical demands such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and using tools that require good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and commitment to following all safety protocols and guidelines as outlined by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.
