We are seeking a skilled Radio Equipment Specialist to join our team at the U.S. Army. As a Radio and Communications Security Repairer, you will be responsible for performing and supervising essential preventive maintenance checks and services on radios, transmitters, communication security equipment, and other associated equipment to ensure secure communication is always available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform or supervise preventive maintenance checks and services on radios, transmitters, and communication security equipment.
  • Calibrate and align equipment components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Test program sets and use interactive electronic technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.

Testing & Certifications:

  • 85 nationally recognized certifications available.
  • 10 weeks of basic training (paid).
  • 21 weeks of advanced individual training (paid).

Basic Eligibility Requirements:

  • Age: Between 17-35 years old.
  • Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
  • Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card (I-551).
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
