Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Korean Bilingual Telematics Validation Engineer to join our team at BTI Solutions. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our telematics and infotainment products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough validation of telematics and infotainment systems using both test benches and vehicles.
  • Collaborate effectively with the R&D team across various regions, including North America and Korea.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
  • Foster strong relationships with international counterparts to facilitate information sharing and problem resolution.
  • Support the production part approval process (PPAP) testing as required.
  • Utilize a tracking system to document and monitor product defects.
  • Develop and maintain test cases in accordance with product specifications.
  • Evaluate test outcomes to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Execute sanity checks, comprehensive test cases, and regression testing for designated sections.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with infotainment and telematics systems, vehicle networking (CAN/Ethernet), and wireless technologies (3G/4G, VoLTE).
  • Adept at identifying and addressing both technical and organizational challenges.
  • Experience with test bench setups and vehicle configurations.
  • Ability to interpret specifications and analyze test results effectively.
  • Strong focus on quality and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Understanding of how to formulate test cases with the correct structure.
  • Proficient in using bug tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A willingness to continuously learn and explore new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in the automotive sector.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Korean language proficiency.
  • Understanding of the vehicle development lifecycle.
