We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Colwen Hotels. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions and records.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transaction Management: Process and balance financial transactions, including guest charges, payments, and deposits.
- Accounting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for guests.
- Guest Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Communication: Collaborate with the Lead Audit team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of financial operations.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of guest information and adhere to all Colwen Hotels' policies and procedures.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Experience: One year of related experience in financial operations, hotel management, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and common computer software programs.
