As our Lead Regulatory Relations and Policy Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in leading regulatory projects, including pricing and policy, to support our filings before state and federal regulators.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and execute regulatory and policy initiatives and assigned rate review issues in relevant jurisdictions.
- Develop and build working relationships with staff of relevant commissions and boards and interested stakeholders.
- Monitor evolving regulatory issues and recommend, advocate, and implement policies and proposals that advance corporate strategic goals.
- Provide support and guidance to internal teams on regulatory issues, including tariff-related topics.
- Represent Alliant Energy in the public arena on a wide variety of regulatory affairs and pricing issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, business administration, public policy, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Master's or Advanced Degree preferred.
- 7 years professional experience in regulatory affairs, energy industry, or related field.
