Lead Regulatory Relations and Policy Consultant

At Alliant Energy Corporate Services, we are passionate about shaping the future of regulatory policies and driving strategic initiatives. As our Lead Regulatory Relations and Policy Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in leading regulatory projects, including pricing and policy, to support our filings before state and federal regulators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute regulatory and policy initiatives and assigned rate review issues in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Develop and build working relationships with staff of relevant commissions and boards and interested stakeholders.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory issues and recommend, advocate, and implement policies and proposals that advance corporate strategic goals.
  • Provide support and guidance to internal teams on regulatory issues, including tariff-related topics.
  • Represent Alliant Energy in the public arena on a wide variety of regulatory affairs and pricing issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, business administration, public policy, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Master's or Advanced Degree preferred.
  • 7 years professional experience in regulatory affairs, energy industry, or related field.
