Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a key member of our Breast Imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all technical procedures within breast imaging, ensuring high-quality images and adhering to established protocols.
  • Work closely with the Breast Imaging Manager and Clinical Director to ensure seamless departmental operations.
  • Participate in departmental education programs, quality assurance/quality improvement activities, and contribute to the development of a culture that fosters excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with imaging professionals, nursing, and technical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely and efficient documentation.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Breast Imaging Manager/Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited imaging technology program (e.g., Radiography, Nuclear Medicine).
  • One to two years of hospital-based experience preferred.
  • Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License/Radiography category.
  • Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License/Mammography category, or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • Current ARRT Radiography (RT-R) registration.
  • Current ARRT Mammography (RT-M) registration or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • Current BLS certification or must obtain an active BLS certification within 90-days of hire.
