Senior Manufacturing Modeling Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Modeling Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Engines business unit, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing engines and propulsion systems for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing models and simulations to optimize casting and solidification processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new engines and propulsion systems.
- Conduct technical assessments and provide engineering support to operations as needed.
- Identify and develop new manufacturing methods to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build schedule.
- Support DFMEA and PFMEA studies to strengthen the feedback loop between design, build, and test.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Mechanical or Material Science preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant Casting experience.
- 3+ years of Solidification Modeling experience, specifically Pro-Cast or Magma, as it applies to casting development and refinement.
- Experience developing routings and instruction for processing of components.
- Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- 5+ years Investment Casting experience.
- 5+ years of Pro-Cast Solidification Modeling experience.
- Experience with FEA and/or CFD.
- Competitive salary range: $116,040.75-$162,457.05.
