Overview

Backcountry Therapeutics, LLC is a locally owned and operated pediatric facility in Palmer, Alaska. We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team of occupational, physical, and speech therapists.

Compensation

We offer a highly competitive salary starting at $105,000 per year for new graduates, with increases based on experience. Our yearly benefit package includes:

  • Low-deductible health care

  • Paid documentation and treatment planning time (6 hours/week at full hourly rate)

Job Description

We are looking for a PT who is passionate about advancing their clinical skills in unique modalities. Our facility offers a variety of treatment settings, including:

  • 9,000 sq. ft. clinic
  • Aquatic therapy in a 95-degree salt pool
  • Equine-facilitated therapy in a heated facility (year-round)
  • Community treatment options (parks, library, stores, etc.)
  • Nature-based treatment options (sledding, trail scavenger hunts, trail rides, etc.)
  • Home health services
