Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Thoroughly dust and polish furniture, woodwork, and light fixtures; vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors; clean, iron, fold, and hang laundry; store linens; wash windows as needed; make beds daily and exchange bedding timely.
  • Bathroom and Kitchen Sanitation: Clean and sanitize bathroom and kitchen surfaces and appliances.
  • Trash Removal: Remove trash and other disposable items timely.
  • Laundry and Dry Cleaning: Ensure cleanliness of all laundry, including dry cleaning.
  • Pet Care: Provide care for pets in feeding, cleaning, health, and waste removal.
  • Errands and Shopping: Shop for groceries and perform errands as directed.
  • Communication: Notify appropriate personnel of problems and issues.
  • Compliance: Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Five years' experience as a full-time, household/residential housekeeper.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Moderate levels of English and reading comprehension, writing, and speaking; active listening; organization; reasoning; and attention to detail.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Intermittently lift, carry, pull, and push up to 50 pounds; occasionally, up to 25 pounds; continuously, up to 10 pounds.
  • Environmental Factors: Exposure to chemicals, dust, dirt, stacked materials, electrical equipment, and pets.
