About the Role

Citadel CPM is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead medical/healthcare/behavioral health facility design and construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will oversee projects from planning to close-out, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage medical/healthcare/behavioral health facility design and construction projects
  • Oversee projects from planning to close-out
  • Ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Manage capital improvement projects
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in project/construction management
  • Experience with State of California Health Care Access and Information (HCAI)
  • Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project
  • Ability to develop and control project scope and maintain project budgets
  • Ability to develop and review project schedules
  • Skilled in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents
  • Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders
  • Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges
  • Ability to set and manage project expectations
  • Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA
  • Design-Bid-Build project delivery experience
  • Job Order Contracting (JOC) project delivery experience
  • Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices
  • Knowledge of LEED
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer
  • Possession of a valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
