**Job Summary**
System One is seeking an experienced RF engineering professional to join our team of industry-leading experts in Chelmsford, MA.
This exciting opportunity offers the successful candidate a chance to be a key contributor in the development and production of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high-reliability applications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support the development and production of complex multi-function modules in all phases of the product life cycle.
- Design and develop circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full-rate production.
- Work on complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational products.
- Mentor less experienced engineers on our team.
- Contribute to or author proposals and participate in business capture efforts.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers, as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel.
**Requirements:**
- BS degree in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field and 5 years of relevant professional engineering experience.
- Experience with troubleshooting RF products and resolving integration issues.
- Experience with the use of microwave test equipment.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
**Desired Qualifications:**
- MS in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry.
- Experience with RF design.
- Knowledge of RF subsystems and hardware, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low-noise amplifiers, high-power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.
- Experience with microwave simulation tools.
- Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of technical documentation, including specifications, schematic diagrams, and test data.
