Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for the Provider Engagement Account Manager position should possess the following qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic track record.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managed care or healthcare relationship management, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to comprehend provider contracts.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A commitment to addressing longstanding gaps in care delivery for Black and Brown populations, showcasing self-motivation and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of clearly presenting concepts to various stakeholders, including team members and partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with business leaders and external partners.
- Team Player: Strong ethical standards, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset, with a desire to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Role Responsibilities
The Provider Engagement Account Manager will report directly to the SVP of Provider Relations and Contracting, collaborating closely with the local Market President and leadership team. This role is pivotal in shaping strategies, exercising sound judgment, and conducting data-driven analyses to meet CINQCARE's objectives. The candidate should embody CINQCARE's core values: Trust, Empathy, Commitment, Humility, Creativity, and Community Focus.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Utilizing relationship management expertise to expand the network of local providers within CINQCARE's ACO REACH and IPA frameworks, adhering to budgetary goals.
- Establishing shared goals and objectives for each key account based on specific product offerings (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare, ACO REACH).
- Planning, executing, and overseeing account strategies and initiatives in collaboration with CINQCARE and key providers.
- Providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving key account issues promptly.
- Facilitating Joint Operating Committee Meetings.
- Ensuring alignment of CINQCARE's internal resources with key account objectives and advising leadership on improvement opportunities.
- Conducting market research and analyzing competitors' practices and market positions.
- Formulating strategies to outperform competitors.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of organizational offerings and services.
- Adding value by sharing insights on industry trends and innovations.
- Keeping accurate records of key account contacts.
- Coordinating team efforts to enhance Health Home and payer membership growth.
- Ensuring satisfaction among key accounts.
- Meeting or exceeding individual key account profit and loss objectives.
- Performing additional job-related duties as assigned.
Leadership and Strategy
The Provider Engagement Account Manager will play a crucial role in defining and executing strategies that create business value, including leading a team to design and implement these strategies effectively.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
This position requires close collaboration with other business divisions to ensure a cohesive service offering, while also providing subject matter expertise in account management solutions.
Work Environment
This role necessitates on-site work in a standard office environment, equipped with necessary tools for communication and collaboration. The ability to engage with various stakeholders, including those who may be distressed, is essential. Regular communication via phone and email is required, along with the capacity to sit for extended periods and manage standard office equipment.
