Job Overview

Litex Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations effectively. The successful candidate will demonstrate a robust understanding of financial services, exhibit exceptional analytical skills, and be adept in utilizing accounting software.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Execute check runs, credit card transactions, and ACH payments.
  • Reconcile accounts payable reports with the General Ledger.
  • Maintain and update general ledger accounts through journal entries.
  • Conduct financial analyses to facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and collection processes.
  • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions by reconciling bank statements.
  • Utilize accounting software for generating financial reports.
  • Post accounting batches accurately.
  • Compile efficiency, payroll, and inventory reports.
  • Review work orders to ensure proper transaction documentation.
  • Manage sales tax reconciliation and provide necessary reporting and payment details.
  • Assist with international invoicing requirements.
  • Complete miscellaneous reports and projects as directed by senior management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Demonstrated experience in an accounting role or similar position.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel for financial analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in an accounting environment with clerical responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with financial management software.
Job Type: Full Time

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
