Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Service Faculty to join our team at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. As a Public Service Faculty, you will play a key role in providing technical assistance and training to local governments, helping them to develop the knowledge and skills needed to manage effectively in the 21st century.
Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance and training to local governments on a range of topics, including governance, leadership, and management.
- Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to help local governments improve their performance and effectiveness.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and innovative solutions for local governments.
- Collaborate with other public service and outreach units within the University of Georgia to leverage resources and expertise.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in public administration, government, or a related field, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
