Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Services Manager to lead our Concessions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and participate in the production, preparation, and presentation of all food and beverage products to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Schedule, train, and supervise employees at various food and beverage events, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, and addressing complaints.
  • Provide a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to all standards and regulations, and achieving profitable and competitive products.
  • Supervise monthly inventory of assigned food and beverage outlets, order products and supplies, and monitor food and labor costs on a daily basis.
  • Requisition monetary banks for all assigned outlets, account for beginning cash, and secure all monies in the vault.
  • Formulate operating strategies to maximize profits for various events, training in other Food & Beverage areas to build a well-rounded management team.
  • Ensure all stands, portables, and equipment are maintained and in good working order.
  • Assist in menu planning, development, and delivery of new items in their assigned area.
  • Troubleshoot point of sale, electronic display, and Draftserv systems.
  • Develop employee recruitment and retention programs, interview and hire employees in collaboration with other management staff.
  • Assist in adhering to budgetary requirements, capital improvement projects, and long-range planning of assigned area.
  • Serve in rotation with other senior staff members as manager on duty for major events.
  • Coordinate non-profit volunteer groups at events, planning, training, and assigning work duties and areas.
  • Serve as a point of contact for all concession vendors, as well as touring show merchandisers and vendors.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in food services management. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education and experience, including an Associate's degree or equivalent and two or more years of related experience in retail food, catering, beverage handling, and managing food and beverage staff.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Must obtain a Serve Safe Certification within 120 days from the date of hire.
