Physician Anesthesiologist

UNC Health Wayne is seeking a skilled Physician Anesthesiologist to join our Division of Community Practice at Wayne UNC Hospital in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly qualified physician to work collaboratively in a care-team model with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Anesthesia Assistants (AAs). The ideal candidate will have experience in general anesthesiology, obstetric anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, and regional anesthesiology.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a private practice environment
- Work collaboratively with CRNAs and AAs to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Participate in a care-team model to ensure seamless patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of anesthesia protocols and procedures
- Graduation from an accredited school of Medicine or DO school
- One or more years of experience preferred
- New trainees are highly welcomed
- Must have completed an ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Residency program (by the anticipated start date) and be ABA certified or eligible
- North Carolina licensed or in progress
- Competitive salary and benefits

- $1,500 per month stipend during final 2 years of residency
