Opportunity Overview

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Physician Anesthesiologist to join our team at Wayne UNC Hospital in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

About the Role

This is a community-based opportunity providing a wide spectrum of care in a private practice environment. The Anesthesiologist will work collaboratively in a care-team model with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Anesthesia Assistants (AAs).

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a private practice environment
  • Collaborate with CRNAs and AAs in a care-team model
  • Participate in the development and implementation of anesthesia care plans
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the anesthesia department
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Medicine or DO school
  • One or more years of experience preferred
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Residency program
  • ABA certification or eligibility
  • North Carolina licensed or in progress
