This position encompasses Total Investment responsibilities across diverse channels, including linear television, digital video, programmatic advertising, display, audio, branded content, paid social media, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, out-of-home advertising, local promotions, cinema, print, direct mail, search engine marketing, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct investment strategies, activation processes, partnership development, thought leadership, and market navigation for one of Zenith's premier accounts.
2. Oversee a team of over 60 skilled professionals, ranging from Associates to Senior Vice Presidents, focusing on media industry best practices, brand development, negotiation techniques, and crafting compelling media narratives.
3. Foster innovation through relentless determination and the ability to challenge conventional boundaries with partners.
4. Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the organization, including key stakeholders across executive leadership, media, marketing, and procurement.
5. Maintain an in-depth understanding of enterprise-level business objectives and challenges, consumer behaviors, and current consumption trends across all channels.
6. Achieve annual cost guarantees through assertive negotiations and a solutions-oriented approach to savings.
7. Effectively manage revenue forecasts and create new agency profits through proprietary products and pipeline opportunities.
8. Take charge of staffing requirements, team development, and succession planning.
9. Act as a principal stakeholder in scope proposals.
10. Facilitate large-scale partnerships through industry-leading Upfront investments and Joint Business Plans.
11. Coordinate between media and creative teams on both the agency and client sides.
12. Develop market entry strategies and budget allocations based on extensive knowledge of media channels, market dynamics, and key performance indicators.
13. Advise clients and team members on market conditions, media inflation forecasts, and first-to-market opportunities.
14. Prepare and present high-level and tactical media recommendations in dynamic, high-stakes environments.
15. Leverage strong relationships with key players in media networks and publishing to benefit clients.
16. Create insightful and relevant perspectives that evaluate media opportunities with an innovation-driven approach.
17. Play a pivotal role in all facets of campaign management, including partner liaison and delivery.
18. Oversee all elements of activation from buying to trafficking, reporting, and billing reconciliation.
19. Serve as the primary point of escalation for all investment and market-related issues.
