Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures, including neuro, body, and extremity imaging, following Radiologist-set protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, clearly explaining exams and answering patient questions.
  • Conduct quality control tests on equipment and report irregularities.
  • Enter data into Radiology Imaging System, IDX Imaging Suite, and Picture Archive Communication System.
  • Process images as needed and identify anatomy on images.
  • Notify team leader and maintenance personnel regarding equipment malfunctions.
  • Share responsibility for ordering supplies and notify relevant parties on supply levels.
  • Act as a Radiology liaison and provide support to physicians; refer issues to the team leader.
  • Perform duties in a clinical environment while ensuring satisfaction of job obligations and compliance with organizational policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic imaging and medical equipment management.
  • Strong communication skills.
