Key Responsibilities:

As a Cake Decorator at Festival Foods, your duties will include:

• Decorating Bakery Products: Skillfully finish and embellish a variety of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, and pastries.
• Enhancing Visual Appeal: Create eye-catching and unique items that not only meet but exceed customer expectations.
• Customer Engagement: Assist guests with their bakery needs, take special orders, and help realize their cake design ideas.
• Maintaining Displays: Ensure bakery displays are fresh and inviting by rotating stock and maintaining adequate inventory levels.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of quality by ensuring all products are fresh and discarding any that do not meet our criteria.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside other bakery staff to achieve departmental goals and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Food Safety Compliance: Keep accurate food safety logs and adhere to all relevant guidelines.
• Dependability: Maintain regular attendance and provide timely notice for any absences.
• Team Support: Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Frequent exposure to moving machinery (around 60% of the time).
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (approximately 20% of the time).
• Repetitive hand and wrist motions (about 90% of the time).

Work Schedule:

This is an hourly position with a flexible schedule, typically including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and the possibility of evening and holiday shifts as needed.
