Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Alliance President, the Campus President serves as the principal administrator for the Chamberlain College of Nursing campus.
This role is pivotal in providing strategic leadership and direction to meet the academic and operational objectives of the campus.
The Campus President acts as the primary representative in the local community, dedicating time to promote campus initiatives while fostering a supportive internal culture characterized by Chamberlain Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Management: Oversee all facets of talent management across the campus. Recruit, nurture, empower, and retain exceptional talent while ensuring team members have the necessary resources to excel.
- Functional Leadership: Provide comprehensive leadership to campus staff and programs to achieve growth targets. Supervise all functional operations either directly or through Campus and Alliance Leaders.
- Student Focus: Ensure students receive exceptional educational experiences through strong faculty, programs, and services. Maintain high educational standards and student satisfaction.
- Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance leadership to manage the campus P&L, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals and proactive communication regarding financial health.
- Campus Development: Engage in strategic planning to define and implement campus strategies. Work with marketing to assess local employment needs and develop actionable goals.
- Student Lifecycle Management: Implement strategies to attract and retain students, optimizing enrollment and graduation rates.
- Change Leadership: Champion change initiatives, fostering collaboration among faculty and staff to achieve shared objectives.
- External Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, accreditation bodies, and local organizations.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, fostering a culture of compliance across all campus functions.
- Policy Development: Establish and maintain campus standards, driving improvements in academic and operational effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with national directors to implement institutional policies and facilitate communication across campuses.
- Cultural Leadership: Promote a student-centered campus culture aligned with the TEACH values and Chamberlain Care.
Qualifications
Required: Current unencumbered nursing licensure, a Master's degree in nursing, education, or business, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Proven leadership experience with budget management is essential.
Preferred: At least five years of nursing practice experience, including two years in educational administration or as a faculty member.
Additional Skills: A global mindset, stakeholder perspective, strategic agility, collaboration, results orientation, and emotional intelligence are crucial for success in this role.
