**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Green Humanity Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement and Sourcing: Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills to negotiate best vendor terms and pricing.
  • Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis during the sourcing process, ensuring a minimum of three quotes.
  • Purchase Order Management: Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Industry Trend Analysis: Analyze industry and demand trends, supporting senior management in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
  • CAPEX Project Management: Manage CAPEX projects, including budget and contractors per contracts.
  • Cost Savings: Generate and document cost savings through supplier negotiations and continuous improvement processes.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure efficient management of contracts, systems, and supplier development.
  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain controls for quantity, quality, price, and delivery of purchased items.
  • Reporting: Submit reports in accordance with reporting directives.
  • Process Improvement: Continually improve purchasing methods and processes.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and accident-free work environment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in purchasing and/or MRO buying preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Attributes: Results-focused, planning and organization, technical knowledge and troubleshooting, communication proficiency, and vision-strategy.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
