The Converting Supervisor is a key role within THE NEW-INDY GROUP, responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Implement and maintain efficient production systems and processes to minimize waste and maximize output.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing improvements and optimize production workflows.
- Lead, coach, and motivate production teams to achieve operational objectives and promote a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; prior work experience in a related industry and supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in operating a Corrugator and ability to manage multiple processes concurrently.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage production teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands.
The Converting Supervisor will work in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, and occasional exposure to high places and fumes.
