Position Overview

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services within the Emergency Department. This role is vital in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of various organ systems and perform blood flow studies.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure the provision of accurate images necessary for comprehensive diagnostic reports.
  • Educate and orient physicians, residents, and staff on the principles and safety protocols of magnetic resonance imaging.
  • Assist nursing personnel in specific tasks, including the documentation of medication waste.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent education.
  • Current ARRT certification and registration are mandatory.
  • BLS CPR certification is required.
  • Experience in an MRI training program with a clinical internship or a minimum of one year of MRI experience.
