MRI Imaging Specialist

As an MRI Imaging Specialist with Johns Hopkins Medical Management Corporation, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This position requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies.
Provide radiologists with images necessary to obtain diagnostic results, ensuring a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physicians.
Orient physicians, residents, staff, and student technologists in the objectives and applications of magnetic resonance imaging and safety.
Assist nursing staff in areas such as witnessing medication administration and documenting in Pyxis.
Requirements:
Completion of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, typically acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.
ARRT certification with current registration required.
BLS CPR certification required.
MRI training program experience with clinical internship or one year of MRI experience.
