Job Description:

The Business Administration Assistant - Accounts Payable will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Duties:

  • Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
  • Manage vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments.
  • Ensure timely payment of bills, including utilities, supplies, and vendor services.
  • Maintain and update accounts payable records and documentation.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monthly statements.
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and address payment issues in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years proven experience as an accounts payable specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
