About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - OB Acute Nurse to join our team at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in obstetric nursing.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year - Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
