Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to join our team at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure optimal performance and job satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in nursing leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in improving patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
