The Behavioral Health Technician will assist in providing a safe environment for individuals while they are in the program. Responsibilities include assisting with the admission process, answering client questions, and supervising clients with emphasis on client safety and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the admission process and orientation procedures
  • Record inventory logs of personal belongings and valuables
  • Facilitate orientation groups with clients
  • Fill out required lab requisitions per protocol
  • De-escalate client problems and provide emotional support
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
  • Supervise clients completing the program
  • Remind clients of program rules and regulations
  • Complete assigned paperwork and incident reports
