Spectroscopy Applications Engineer

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Spectroscopy Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our applications group, you will work closely with sales, engineering, and marketing teams to develop and deliver spectroscopic solutions for our customers.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in spectroscopy, optics, or a related field, with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in applications engineering. They will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement spectroscopic solutions for customers
- Providing technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and partners
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in spectroscopy and related fields
The following qualifications are required for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (M.S or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in applications engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of spectroscopy, optics, and related principles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
