About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Specialist to join our team at Dignity Health Medical Foundation. This is a full-time opportunity with no call requirement, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional patient care.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced physicians and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients throughout Sacramento. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education and counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including health history and physical examination
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as stress tests and Holter monitors
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
About Us
Dignity Health Medical Group is a dynamic organization with a long-standing history of providing exceptional medical care in the Sacramento area. We offer a competitive salary range of $134,014 - $176,924 per year, paid bi-weekly, which translates to approximately $64.42 - $85.05 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.
