- Determining optimal positioning for patients and providing necessary radiation protection.
- Adhering to established medical and surgical aseptic protocols.
- Executing all required quality control assessments as instructed.
- Keeping precise records and logs of procedures.
- Engaging professionally with patients and their families.
- Exhibiting expertise in operating departmental equipment and assisting colleagues.
- Accurately entering patient data and examination details into the electronic health record system.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the workspace following each shift.
- Complying with and maintaining patient confidentiality standards.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Completion of an AMA-accredited radiology training program.
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technician.
- Current certification with ARRT.
- BLS certification.
