Imaging Specialist Opportunity

Mayo Clinic is seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist to join our Interventional Radiology team. As an Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for administering ionizing radiation using imaging modalities to perform radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature.

Responsibilities
  • Administer ionizing radiation using imaging modalities to perform radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span.
  • Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs.
  • Provide imaging support for the Hybrid operating room and assist in Stealth guidance.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate from an accredited radiography program of study.
  • One year experience as an interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab technologist preferred.
  • Ability to improvise standard procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency.
License or Certification
  • ARRT-R and Arizona CRT required.
  • Basic Life Support Certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date.
  • Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Competency.
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
  • CV, CI, VI, RCIS or RCES required within two years of hire.
