Role Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in our technology operations, ensuring the seamless and efficient functioning of our systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Incident Management: Spearhead the response to IT incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to operations. Formulate and execute strategies aimed at incident prevention.
  • Application Monitoring: Oversee real-time monitoring of all IT systems and applications, proactively identifying and collaborating with application and service owners to address performance issues and avert downtime.
  • Operational Reporting: Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and KPIs that accurately reflect system availability and performance. Utilize data analytics to guide decision-making and operational enhancements.
  • System Optimization: Collaborate with application and service owners to continuously assess system performance, pinpointing opportunities for optimization and enhancements to bolster scalability and reliability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and initiatives. Act as a liaison between IT and other departments, ensuring timely updates and feedback loops to address concerns and enhance overall service delivery.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations, with a strong emphasis on incident management and system monitoring.
  • Proficient in ITIL best practices for Incident Management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud services in high-traffic environments.
  • Experienced in application monitoring tools, incident tracking systems, and operational reporting technologies.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Confidence and capability to engage with all levels of management, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to be on call and work during off-peak hours as necessary for incident management.
