Financial Services Representative

The Consumer Banker will work closely with existing clients and prospect for new business opportunities to deepen client relationships through direct sales and referrals to internal partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management.
Key Responsibilities- Perform essential functions required to open accounts and maintain client relationships.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Promote client engagement through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Daily activities aligned with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience), including:
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide expert guidance to clients on service and solution-related matters.
- Ensure timely follow-up calls with clients.
- Maintain operational and risk management standards.
- Other duties as assigned to support clients in various banking channels, including branches, drive-thrus, phone, and email.
- Model best practices for peers and colleagues in line with First Financial's Mission and Values.
- The CB is responsible for adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures.
- Client Experience.
- Function as a trusted advisor by adding value and building long-lasting client relationships using the First Client Conversation Model.
- Participate and lead in site center huddles and meetings to drive sales and service activities.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management by effectively collaborating as a team, the District, and with lines of business to assist clients achieve their financial objectives.
- Provide digital assistance and support to clients establishing or requiring help with online banking features.
- Stay informed about bank products, processes, and procedures, particularly complex ones.
- 2-3 years of client service experience in a retail environment.
- 2-3 years of sales and service experience with previous success in achieving sales and service goals in a retail setting.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate's degree and/or equivalent work experience in sales are preferred.
- Strong sales skills are essential.

- Able to serve a diverse range of clients according to bank policies and procedures.
The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
