Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable:
    • Ensure timely and precise reconciliation of company credit card transactions.
    • Maintain tracking of Certificates of Insurance, lien waivers, and W9 forms.
    • Input shop invoices into the accounting system.
    • Oversee purchase order entry and monitoring.
    • Manage accounts payable statement reconciliations.
    • Process checks and credit applications.
  • Accounts Receivable/Invoicing:
    • Handle Time & Materials and Progress billing.
  • Job Costing:
    • Import budgets from estimating software into accounting and project management systems.
    • Add phase and cost codes to projects.
    • Establish new project accounts.
  • Payroll:
    • Conduct certified payroll reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business with a focus on accounting.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on financial accuracy.
  • Proficient in managing financial and numerical data.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and other accounting software.
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
