Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Interventional Technologist to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a key member of our Imaging department, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiological and interventional procedures in a timely and efficient manner
  • Document patient information and communicate with primary physicians and care staff
  • Coordinate patient care with other radiology technologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health staff
  • Evaluate patient condition and provide a safe and comforting environment
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, pan tables, and medical rad injectors
Requirements
  • Associate degree in radiology from an accredited program
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with the Texas Medical Board
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • One to two years of experience in an acute care setting as a radiology technologist or interventional radiology technologist
