We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineering student to join our team in the Ring & Seal Division for the Fall 2024 semester.
About the RoleThe selected intern will work closely with our experienced design engineering team to develop and improve high-performance mechanical sealing solutions. The individual will apply theoretical concepts to real-world projects, learn new skills, and contribute to the design, development, and quality assurance of our products.
Responsibilities- Work with mentors on assigned projects to design, develop, and test mechanical sealing solutions
- Support research and development testing with test sub-system design and validation
- Collaborate with the design engineering team to develop and improve product designs
To be eligible for this internship, you must be a student in a four-year institution for mechanical engineering, have a GPA of 2.75 or better, and have experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
