Job Summary:
Nucor Steel South Carolina is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to provide technical support for maintenance and operations, write hardware and software specifications for projects, create and maintain electrical documentation, and write and support software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for maintenance and operations
  • Write hardware and software specifications for projects
  • Create and maintain electrical documentation
  • Write and support software applications

Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering or Five years' industrial electrical experience
  • Drive Systems (ABB or Rockwell Automation)
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (Rockwell Automation ControlLogix)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the steel making industry
  • Experience developing programs using ABB RobotStudio
  • Proficient with AutoCAD/SolidWorks software
