Position Overview
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, organization, and evaluation of resident care, ensuring that all needs are met in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to address concerns and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Participate in Resident Care conferences and maintain accurate and relevant Resident Care Plans.
- Administer and document medications as per physician directives, ensuring proper documentation of patient care issues.
- Supervise and guide ancillary personnel to ensure high standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Registered Nursing License in good standing.
- Preferred advanced training in geriatrics.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
Work Environment:
Potential exposure to various health-related risks, including chemicals and infectious diseases. Regular interaction with residents, families, and visitors is expected.
