Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Omni Inclusive. As a key member of our Site Services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional IT support to our workforce, ensuring a seamless and user-centric experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage and prioritize Site Support ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Site Support staff and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and process framework.
  • Active participation in ticket-based site support activities, including device staging, technical troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Ensure accurate inventory of supported assets and coordinate activities with local, internal, and 3rd party stakeholders and vendors.
  • Support the Site Services Delivery Manager with specific project-related tasks and bring relevant topics to their attention.
  • Provide smart hands support, including rack and stack activities, patching, and network troubleshooting.
  • Ensure data rooms are secure, clean, and orderly, adhering to Client policies and guidelines.
  • Contribute to Continuous Service Improvement and process optimization, enhancing the end-to-end customer journey.
  • Participate in knowledge management as an author or reviewer, as necessary.
  • Help identify areas for improvement through learning the business and its needs.
  • Participate in out-of-hours on-call rosters, as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Good technical knowledge and previous technical support experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical issues.
  • Previous customer support experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, augmented staff, and third-party vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing demand.
